Queensland Flood Grants – Applications Closing Soon

Earlier this year the state and federal governments announced financial support packages for those affected by the South-East Queensland floods in February to April 2022 and the southern Queensland floods in May 2022.

The following grants were made available:

  • Up to $75,000 for primary producers
  • Up to $50,000 for small businesses and not for profit organisations
  • Up to $20,000 for sporting and recreation clubs (22 Feb-7 Mar 22 flooding only)

Applications for these grants will be closing soon, however there is still time to apply.

Grant applications for sporting and recreation clubs will close 30 November 2022.

Grant applications for South-East Queensland Flooding from 22 February to 5 April 2022 will close 5 December 2022.

Grant applications for Southern Queensland Flooding from 6 to 20 May 2022 will close 6 January 2023.

Low interest loans of up to $250,000 are also still available for flood-affected businesses and applications for these will close 31 December 2023.
